Why Do Products Have Different Fulfillment Timelines?

Not every product begins its journey from the same shelf or even the same company.

The Short Answer

The timeline depends on inventory location, manufacturer involvement, product type, and the fulfillment path available for that item.

Examples

• An item at the Subimods warehouse may move through our standard in-stock workflow.
• A partner-held item depends on that partner’s processing and inventory update.
• A manufacturer-involved item may depend on production, allocation, transfer, or direct shipment.

Shipping Speed Is Separate

Carrier transit time begins after the package is accepted by the carrier. Expedited shipping does not remove product processing or manufacturer fulfillment time.
