Can I still get a refund to my original payment method within 14 days?

Yes. Checkout+ adds benefits; it does not remove your normal refund choice during the standard return window.

The Short Answer

For an eligible return within 14 days, you may choose the applicable refund to your original payment method or choose store credit.

If You Choose Store Credit

Checkout+ increases the eligible product credit to 105% of the Net Item Total.

If You Choose the Original Payment Method

The return is processed under the normal approved refund amount. The 5% store credit boost does not apply.
